This is a re-introduction to the Soulful sounds of Billy Cook. Fans have never boxed Billy into one category.  There is one thing they do agree on and that is, he’s ‘So Iconic!’
Billy Cook the H-Town veteran vocalist has been putting in work for years. He is an R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer in Houston, Texas. Houston is known for its break out talents who’ve turned legendary.  This songwriter, vocalist, and producer originate from the small town of Atlanta Texas.  Going from Atlanta to Houston's South-Side, and now his focus was on stardom. Billy Cook took on the music industry at the age of 17 and soon realized his journey was rapidly beginning.
Billy recalls his first collaboration which was with ‘Scarface’ an artist on the Rap-A-Lot label and was titled, ‘For My Homies part 1 & 2.’  Looking back, Billy shares, that he believes doors began opening for him when he worked on a project with Big Mike. The project was titled, "Something Serious" and was labeled as Big Mike’s Certified Gold Album. After his appearance on this project, opportunities on numerous other projects began to flood in. (Many of which went from Gold to Platinum) As well as his own releases, Billy Cook is also known for providing vocals for tracks of fellow Texas rappers, Bun B, Z-Ro, Chamillionaire, and Lil Keke.  
 Billy and his supporter knew it was time to move ahead in full force with ‘his’ music career.  Since then Mr. So Iconic has featured on many underground projects and, collaborated with numerous well-known artists.  His dynamic vocals have provided opportunities for him to tour from Coast to Coast with such superstars as; Frankie Beverly & Maze, Joe, The Isley Brothers, Silk, Juvenile, Destiny's Child, Carl Thomas, and Ashanti to name a few. In addition to Statewide tours, Billy Cook headlined a tour in Japan where his overseas record sales were quite substantial. Billy and his overseas fans are looking forward to scheduling another tour. Among a few of the college campuses he has toured are Mississippi Valley State, Jackson State, and Grambling Universities.
How about that for a small-town boy from the South! Billy Cook has also earned the title of Down South's "King of R&B."
Billy shared the spotlight on tours with the likes of LeToya Luckett, Dem Franchize Boyz, Young Dro, Yung Joc, Urban Mystic, and Dj Unk.  It is also noted that he has performed alongside of Ne-Yo, H-Town, and Jodeci at the George Brown Center in Houston Texas.  A real show stopper was his strong rendition of the ‘National Anthem’ during the Houston Rockets NBA game. Among his accomplishments, Billy Cook received the ‘Southern Entertainment Award’ for R&B Album of the year.
The South never knows what to expect from Billy Cook. One thing for sure, you will have an ICONIC Experience each time listening to his well-known Vocal.
Billy Cook was recently featured on the single, ‘Get Together’ from songwriter ‘Kizzo’ which, topped djs charts five weeks straight.  He was also featured on the 2019 hot track ‘Country; (the Long Way) from Marcell Cassanova. Marcell earned three nominations for the song Country.

Billy recently released his soul filled tune “Watching the Clock.” The silky single, written by Marcell Cassanova, gives off a timeless vibe that sets it up to be a sure classic.
